- COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for ELECTRIC VEHICLES, BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, as prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. (ii) The solicitation number is VA244-17-Q-1805 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The electric vehicles will be utilized by staff of Engineering Service for duties that require transportation of tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and personnel to various locations. As specified below, the need is for the acquisition of four electric utility maintenance trucks, five electric 4-door passenger trucks, and one electric utility van with a tall rear enclosure. The addition of these vehicles will increase versatility and allow for better service throughout the campus.
