- Special Notice VA261-17-N-1158 The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO-21 intends to issue a sole source procurement action with University of California, UC DAVIS HEALTH SYSTEM, 2315 STOCKTON BOULEVARD, ROOM 2300, SACRAMENTO, CA 95817-2201 for the procurement of the following service: Expert Geropsychiatric consultation/ services to veterans for a one (1) year base period beginning October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018, plus four (4) one year option periods. This expert serves as the Attending Supervisor for the UCD Geropsychiatric resident rotation and training program. The Geropsychiatric rotation provides Geropsychiatric consultation to HBPC, PACT, and Behavioral Health. NAICS Code: 611310 Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools This requirement is conducted as an Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1 ; This is a notice of intent to award a limited sources procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by 15 September 2017, 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Local Time to Tanjia Harris, Network Contracting Officer, VISN 21, 5342 Dudley Blvd, Bldg. 98, McClellan, CA 95652. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. The Network Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
