- Description
- This procurement is being solicited under the Federal Acquisition Regulations ("FAR") 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Therefore, the Government will utilize simplified procedures for soliciting competition, evaluating offers, and awarding the contract(s). DLA Troop Support intends to enter into an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) contract with a commercial firm to supply a full-line of USDA No.1 or better Fresh Fruit and Vegetable (FF&V) products to Non-Department of Defense (USDA) Customers in the Central Pennsylvania Zone. This solicitation consists of one (1) zone in Central Pennsylvania. It will consist of Non-DoD USDA School customers. The Government intends to make one (1) award. Offerors shall submit their best proposal. Offerors are required to offer on all items in the Schedule of Items; failure to do so may result in exclusion from award consideration. Any award made against this solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment-Actual Material Costs for Subsistence Delivered Price Business Model. An IQC will provide for an indefinite quantity, within stated limits, of specific supplies or services to be furnished during a fixed period, with deliveries to be scheduled by placing orders with the contractor (reference FAR 16.504 (a)). Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA-EBS Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. If not already registered, prospective offerors will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). In order to download and view these documents, prospective offerors will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://adobe.com. Anticipated solicitation issue date: August 11, 2017. This solicitation will be issued under FAR 15.101-2 Low Price Technically Acceptable (LTPA).
