BID OPENING SCHEDULED FOR 10 AUGUST 2017. *** The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, devices, and materials and perform all work required to Alter Power Distribution System at the Stockbridge Test Site, Oneida, NY. The work to be performed includes the following principal features: 1. Upgrade the primary distribution system Building 1477 and the GIB site 2. Upgrade the secondary distribution system to building 1477 and the GIB site. 3. Upgrade the underground communication systems conduit system to the GIB site. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.5. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with an associated small business size standard of $15,000,000 average annual revenue. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bidders must have the capability to provide payment and performance bonding in the full amount of the bid. Questions and comments are welcome and must be sent to the Contract Specialist Tabitha Haggart at Tabitha.Haggart@us.af.mil The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted online at the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov under the reference number FA8751-17-B003 on or about 22 June 2017. Bids will be due approximately 30 days later. A site visit will be conducted about 10 days after issuance of the IFB. The date will be finalized when the IFB is posted. The IFB documents will only be available electronically. Potential bidders will be responsible for downloading the IFB documents and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and any additional information. Award will be a firm fixed price (FFP) contract resulting from a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB). Competing bidder's bids shall be ranked according to price. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsible bidder, whose bid is responsive to the terms of the IFB. Bids will be accepted on an all or none basis only. Partial bids will not be accepted. Successful bidders will be selected based upon the lowest total evaluated price (TEP) Interested vendors may register their contact information at the Federal Business Opportunities website under this notice.
