- Amendment 2 The purpose of FBO Amendment dated 8/09/17is to incorporate and attach Solicitation Amendment 2, which incorporates the pre-bid meeting notes from 8/07/17 and removes the requirement that offerors submit a completed Attachment D - Schedule of Values with proposals. The purpose of FBO Amendment dated 8/02/17 is to incorporate and attach Solicitation Amendment 1, which incorporates Attachment F - Project Materials Specification (attached to Amendment 1) to the solicitation. The purpose of FBO Amendment dated 7/25/17 is to upload the solicitation documents. A site visit has been scheduled for 8/07/17 at 1000 Eastern at the Chittenden Conifers building, 1070 Nursery Road, Wellston, MI 49689. Please see the solicitation for full details. Proposals are due at 2:30 Central on 8/24/17. The USDA Forest Service, Lake States Acquisition Team, announces an opportunity for the Chittenden Conifers Office Renovation Phase 1 project on the Huron-Manistee National Forest. This work includes construction services for the renovation of the Chittenden Conifers Building to repair building components and start renovation to convert into a functioning office building. Services may include interior and exterior demolition, general carpentry, insulating, general and low voltage electrical, HVAC work with minor HVAC design, and plumbing. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220. The estimated magnitued of construction cost for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Small Business Administration size standard is $36.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation is expected to be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov on or about July 14, 2017. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the work described in the solicitation.
