- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for CHOATE BROOK BRIDGE FOOTING REPAIRS at EVERETT LAKE DAM; located in Weare, NH. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials to perform bridge repairs in accordance with the resulting contract. Work components of this project include: *Dewatering the work area on the west side of the stream under the bridge. *Installing a protective concrete collar around the existing concrete west abutment, dowelled in every 18 inches for the total of 26 feet around the existing west abutment. The period of performance of the resulting contract will be FORTY-FIVE (45) DAYS AFTER NOTICE TO PROCEED. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 11-AUGUST-2017 with an anticipated quote due date of 01-SEPTEMBER-2017 and estimated award date of 08-AUGUST-2017. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self-register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 237310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36,500,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
