- This is a Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling of Contract N66001-16-C-4009 to SRC, Inc., awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Strategic Technology Office (STO) on 16 March 2016 for a performance period of 12 months. The effort under the contract is in support of the DARPA STO Program, Shared Spectrum Access for Radar & Communications (SSPARC) and involves innovative research in the area of spectrum sharing between radar and communications systems, following on prior work carried out in Phase 1 of the Shared Spectrum Access for Radar and Communications (SSPARC) program. Under this additional effort, the contractor shall continue to develop xenoprotein binders to targets of DOD interest, in collaboration with DOD laboratories and demonstrate large-scale synthesis of xenoprotein capable of binding to a target of DOD interest. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541712 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology). Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA STO could not have reasonably estimated the results and/or need for additional research under this program. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $197,163 with an extension through 02 March 2018. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, however, interested parties may submit comments in writing to the Contract Specialist, Paul Toledo, Code 22530, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific who may be reached by telephone at (619) 553-5199 or via email to paul.h.toledo@navy.mil. This notice will be posted for 15 days. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
