- Description
- The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Fort Sam Houston (FSH), TX. intends to issue a solicitation to reconfigure Medical Education Training Campus (METC) lecterns for JBSA-FSH. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334112 Computer Storage Devise Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The applicable Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 7035. The resulting contract will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation. The scope of work is to upgrade (install) numerous 33" and 43" lecterns, Blu-ray players, document cameras, and 84" interactive displays in facilities across METC training campus facilities. Specific numbers and specifications for the required equipment will be outlined in the solicitation. The Government intends to issue Solicitation (FA3016-17-R-0095) on or about 11 August 2017. The Period of Performance (POP) is 180 days after date of award. Due to the magnitude and number of facilities to be retrofitted, the government anticipates conducting a site visit at the project facilities. The government intends to hold only one (1) pre-proposal site visit at JBSA-FSH. The date and time for this site visit will be made available in the forthcoming solicitation. Any information related to solicitation will be available only via the Government Point of Entry, Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov is mandatory in order for a contract to be awarded.
