This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017817R4089 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a Brand Name basis for Dell and CISCO items. These specific brand names are required to maintain supportability and security stature. Use of any other brand would require replacement of current hardware and new evaluation to ensure compatibility and reliability resulting in a duplication of costs and additional man hours. ***MUST BE BRAND NAME***ONLY NEW EQUIPMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED***REFURBISHED OR ALTERNATE EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED***MUST BE AUTHORIZED RESELLER FOR DELL AND CISCO*** Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 24 Aug 2017, no later than 12:00AM EST with an anticipated award date by 1 Sept 2017.
