- Synopsis: M67001-17-Q-0059 The fire departments for Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina have requirements Scott self-contained breathing apparatus harnesses, air tanks, masks and firefighter locator equipment and software. This will be a brand name only requirement in order to maintain compatibility with existing equipment. The Government will solicit (M67001-17-Q-0059) and award this contract using FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The Government intends to award the quoter who represents the Best Value to the Government. Best Value will be determined by a review of quoters' responses to the evaluation criteria provided in the solicitation. Award will be issued on a firm fixed price contract on an all or none basis. The requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113. The request for quotation (RFQ) documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2005-95, effective 19 January 2017, and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20161222, effective 22 December 2016. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOps, www.fbo.gov, on or about 16 August 17. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application Inventory, Receipt Acceptance and Property Transfer (iRAPT) at https://wawf.eb.mil/xhtml/unauth/home/login.xhtml. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer for consideration.
