- Notification of Contract Action for Confined Space Simulator. The Air Force Test Center Operational Contracting Squadron (AFTC/PZIOC) Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 19.1506 for one (1) confined space rescue simulator for the 96 CEG to WRG Fire Training Simulation Systems, Inc.; 1100 Industrial PKWY; Newberg, OR 971432. Anticipated award date is 15 September 2017. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC)637(m)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5(b). The applicable NAICS code is 332312. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Note: Funds are not presently available for this effort. An award will not be made until certified funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the requirement, before or after the closing date of an issued solicitation without obligation. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION. A solicitation package will NOT be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses and questions shall be received via email by tianna.seaman@us.af.mil.
