- The Food and Drug Administration intends to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Applied Maths Inc., 512 East 11th Street, Suite 207, Austin, TX 78701. The purchase order is for BioNumerics version 7.6 Network licenses with PulseNet Configuration and to upgrade existing BioNumerics software from V.5.1 to V.7.6. Applied Maths is the manufacturer of the license. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 511210-Software Publishers. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide the licenses and upgrades of the BioNumerics software must submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within fourteen (14) days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
