- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division Point Loma, has a requirement to convert three existing spaces into an enlarged server room located at Building 2555, Navy Regional Plant Equipment Office (NRPEO) Warehouse, Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL), San Diego, California. The following work description is furnished for your information: Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to convert three existing spaces (A146, A153 and A154) into one enlarged server room. The requirement predominantly involves electrical (56% of the IGE) to install a new generator, electrical service to a High Bay area, and electrical work for a new server room. In addition, the Scope of Work also includes installation of a new HVAC (32% of the IGE) and incidental efforts to complete finishes such as ceiling, floor, painting, etc. The goal of this project is to provide the client a complete and useable server room. At the Old Town Complex, the Scope of Work involves replacing an out-of-date metal halide building mounted fixtures with LED fixture heads utilizing the existing circuitry and adding additional lighting at building entrances. Additionally, the Scope of Work includes extending circuitry for additional wall mount fixtures to accommodate the minimum foot candles required for this project.
