- THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION HAS EXTENDED RFQ'S TO 24 AUGUST 2017 NLT 2:00 PM CST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a full and open acquistion of Mineral Wool Insulation. The USAF is seeking to procure 2 rolls of mineral wool insulation with the following characteristics: 1 (one) 24,960 sq ft roll of 5x16x48 Mineral Wool Insulation and should meet or exceed STC 50 based on ASTM E90. 1 (one) 14,976 sq ft roll of 6x16x48 Mineral Wool Insulation and should meet or exceed STC 50 based on ASTM E90. If interested fill out the third page and return with any other documentation needed to demonstrate you can fullfill the requirement.
