- NOTICE OF INTENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, intends to award an emergent sole-source acquisition to Nycom Inc. 1240B First Street South, Columbia, 29209 for the following service: Provide one Kewaunee Scientific Supreme Air LV Bench-top Fume Hood 84 wide, pre-piped and pre-wired with installation services to the Charlie Norwood VAMC Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same service for the Kewaunee Fume Hood and installation services to Sterlyn Frazier, Contract Specialist, at sterlyn.frazier@va.gov by August 10, 2017, no later than 3:00 pm EST. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 337124 with a Size Standard of 750 employees.
