- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey (JB MDL). This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine the interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 561730 - Landscaping/Tree Removal Services. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Vendors are reminded that only Contracting Officers are authorized to commit the government to the obligation of funds. At this time no solicitation exists, therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. JB MDL is seeking interested sources for a possible contract. JB MDL is seeking contractor to provide Tree Removal Services. Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to clear and grub a minimum of 15 acres of trees and perform selective tree removal in approximately 13 acres of the designated work area. The contractor shall also grade, seed, and fertilize ground soil following tree removal. The trees and resulting debris shall be removed from government property and be properly disposed of in accordance with all regulations. The contractor may harvest the wood for lumber, chip and haul the debris for disposal, or use the chips for mulch. All potential offerors are encouraged to submit a response. Please submit responses to richard.driscoll.2@us.af.mil. Responses are to be submitted no later than August 15, 2017 at 1100 Eastern Standard Time. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: 1. Company name and address. 2. Company point of contact name, telephone number and email address. 3. Company business size and status (i.e., Large Business, Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.), the number of years in business, affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners. 4. If the company holds a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract, please list the GSA Contract Number and relevant SINS. 5. Capabilities/Qualifications: A short written response stating your capacity to fulfill this requirement.
