- This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. However if interested the Government shall consider all responces. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with, Bruker BioSpin Corp., Billerica, MA. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 per FAR 6.302-1(c). The service is for/ Skyscan 1176, SN: 12E08062 QTY 12/MO. This will include the -One (1) annual preventive maint and system callibration vist. -Unlimited repairs of any instrument that becomes inoperable under normal conditions, contract covers all non-consumable parts of the imaging sys. such as (bulbs, reagents, and samples are not covered. All parts and labor free of charge, All repairs performed on-site bt trained field technicians. -Unlimited remote access tech support Monday thru Friday 8am to 6pm Eastern Standard Time. The NAICS code for this action is 811219. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems For Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in Systems For Award Management. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: http://www.sam.gov/.
