- REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF FIRE HYDRANT, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. The National Park Service, Lassen Volcanic National Park, has a requirement for the removal of an existing fire hydrant and installation of new hydrant. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. Per the requirements of FAR 36.204, the project range is estimated to be less than $25,000. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237110, with a corresponding size standard of $36.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered. Award is subject to the availability of funding at the time of award. The work of this contract consists of labor, materials, and equipment for the removal of the existing fire hydrant located at the southwest corner of the Kohm-Yah-Mah-Nee Visitor Center (KYVC) which shall be removed and capped off. A new complete fire hydrant package shall be installed at the northwest corner of the Visitor Center Parking lot (approximately 130 ¿ south of the Visitor Center). The new hydrant shall connect to the 10 ¿ main with a 6 ¿ main approximately 30 linear feet in length.
