- Solicitation: M67399-17-Q-0023 Agency/Office: REGIONAL CONTRACTING OFFICE/MCAGCC TWENTYNINE PALMS CA 92278 Title: Fire Suppression System (FSS) Repair and Air Conditioner (AC) Service Capability for Armored Tactical Vehicles Description(s): Exercise Support Division (ESD), Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC), Marine Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, CA SOLICITATION : This synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/supplies is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Market research from historical data and an SBA dynamic search indicates that there are not many companies that can provide this type of service locally. The synopsis/solicitation will be advertised for full and open competition to allow for a fair and competitive environment. Small Business participation is strongly encouraged. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is M67399-17-Q-0023. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code: 81118 size standard $7.5million. The government contemplates a single award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service contract under Subpart 13.5-Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, with a period of performance of one (1) base year and four (4) 12 month option periods. This contract falls under Service Contract Labor Standards wage determination# WD 15-5629 (Rev.-3). Anticipated award date: August 2017 QUOTES: Quotes are to be received no later than close of business (12 a.m. PST) on August 9, 2017. Telephone requests of quotes, will not be accepted, a formal notice of changes (if applicable) will be issued in FEDBIZOPS (www.fbo.gov). BASIS FOR AWARD: The competition is Full and Open. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible quoter who provides the best value to the Government. Evaluations and consideration will be made based on the lowest cost technically acceptable, past performance and technical qualification criteria( see attached Sol# M67399-17-Q-0023). The Government intends to issue a contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The Government reserves the right not to award if it is determined not to be in best interest of the Government.
