- J&A - Sole Source The 48th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Aircraft Covers, Inc., Doing Business as (DBA) Bruce's Customs Covers. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one source will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for sixteen (16) KC135-160 Intake Covers with custom imprint designs. Bruce's Customs Covers is the only approved source to purchase KC135-160 covers IAW F108 Engine Inlet Cover Support Original Equipment Technical Order (T.O.). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336413 and has a size standard of 1,250 Employees. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
