- NOTICE OF INTENT TO PROCURE REPLACEMENT AND UPGRADE EQUIPMENT FOR R&D RADAR SYSTEM The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award a sole source contract on the basis of other than full-and-open competition to Annapolis Micro Systems, Inc. for acquisition of the equipment listed below. The required instruments will replace and upgrade equipment in an existing proprietary research and development radar system. The cited items must be fully functionally and operationally compatible with the replaced units to provide continued operational functionality for the existing proprietary R&D Radar System. (a) three (3) Annapolis Micro Systems, Inc. WSS/VPX/9.3TB WildStar 6U VPX commercial Temp 9.3 TB Storage units; (b) three (3) WSS/VOPX/0TB WildStar 6U VPX commercial temp Storage carrier Board without Canister – No Drives; (c) nine (9) WS/RTM/QSFP+/6/C60/2/d89/2/IRG/1/RJ45/1/Security; PCC15129-B002 6U VPX Rear Transition Module with special PCC and testing; and (d) one (1) (9) WS/RTM/QSFP+/6/C60/2/d89/2/IRG/1/RJ45/1/Security; PCC14918-B002 6U VPX Rear Transition module and special PCC and testing. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. All responsible sources may submit a statement of technical capabilities not later than 10 calendar days after publication of this notification. Any submitted capabilities statement shall include written documentation of the firm’s capability to provide all of the named equipment cited above. Responses received after calendar 10 days or without the required documentation will be determined non-responsive to the synopsis, and will not be considered. All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the e-mail address shown in this synopsis not later than ten calendar days after publication of this notification. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
