- Sources Sought Document Labor Categories and Descriptions Attachment PWS Verison 4.1 Research Activities Support Services **Updated 18 July 2017** THIS SOURCES SOUGHT AMENDMENT WILL NOT BE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). IT IS ONLY A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES.** **Updated 18 July 2017** In accordance with FAR 10.002(b)(1) which states "The Contracting Officer may use Market Research Conducted within 18 months before the award of any task or delivery order if the information is still current, accurate, and relevant", This Sources Sought Notice will not result in a new solicitation posting. USAMRAA is amending the Sources Sought Notice originally posted 10 November 2015 in order to validate the results of the Market Research conducted under Solicitation W81XWH15RASS0001 as it has been more than 18 months since the original submission of the Sources Sought for the Research Activities Support Services (RASS) requirement. ** In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201 "Exchange with industry before receipt of proposals" and (FAR) 52.215-3, "Request for information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes," this Source Sought is for information and planning purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The information resulting from this Sources Sought will determine if there are qualified non-personal service providers available in the marketplace to pursue a Small Business Administrative (SBA) 8(a) competitive procurement in accordance with (IAW) Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(a)) and FAR 19.8 Contracting with the Small Business Administration. This Sources Sought does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. No evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. Response Due Date: Qualified 8(a) firms should submit the Capability Statement in response to this Sources Sought electronically by 12:00 pm (EST) 01 August 2017 via e-mail to Brandon Roebuck at brandon.m.roebuck.civ@mail.mil.
