- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD) is conducting market research to determine if there are qualified, interested, and capable vendors able to provide control of vegetation (broad-leaf and grasses) using livestock (goats, sheep, donkeys, etc.) in a partially fenced area of approximately 15-25 acres. The capability to provide all of the items will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining potential vendors. This RFI also seeks to obtain North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) for this requirement. Information requested: 1. Company Information: Name, address, telephone number, point of contact names, and e-mail addresses, CAGE Code and DUNS number. 2. Brief description of qualifications that demonstrates the capability to provide these items. 3. Business size and any other qualifying socio-economic categories (8(a), disadvantaged, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran, etc.) 4. Statement of offerors interest in bidding on the solicitation when issued. 5. Will the livestock control both broad-leaf and grassy vegetation including mile-a-minute and Japanese stiltgrass? 6. Does the contractor have experience working with the Federal gov't or DOD? 7. Will the contractor be able to provide all necessary care and supplies for the livestock including water, food, medical care, shelter, fencing, surveillance, etc.? 8. Is the contractor capable of staying on site 24 hours per day or transport the livestock to and from the site daily? 9. Does the contractor have or be able to obtain clearance to work on a secure facility? 10. Does each individual animal have all required vaccinations and health clearances? The Capability Statement for this sources sought is not a Request for Quote nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statements regarding the companies' ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the items specified herein. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities statement. Submission of Capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities.
