- Description
- The National Park Service, Intermountain Region, Santa Fe Major Acquisition Buying Office, has a requirement to perform the placement grading, and compaction of 3" deep, ¾" minus Type II road base material, on 1.85 miles of the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP)entrance road. In addition, this contract requires the TYPE II road base material be mixed with PINEBIND, a resign based liquid binder and dust control product purchased by the contractor from National Land Management Corp, (NLM) Chandler, AZ. Contact Mr. Sean Penningroth, 480-390-8253 for best product price quote and to coordinate delivery and operation and specification. Detailed Statement of Work (SOW) and Map are attached. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237310. The small business standard is $36.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) the Project Magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a best value basis. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price construction contract is expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on or around the middle of August 2017. Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Rio Arriba and Sandoval Counties in New Mexico will apply. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
