- PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD NON-COMPETITIVE ACQUISITION Requisition No.: 0040347964 Date of Notice: 07/18/2017 Contracting Officer: Stewart EvansClosing Date: 07/28/2017 ********************************************************************** Description of Services: The U.S. Geological Survey Volcano Science Center, Vancouver, WA, AK, has the requirement of reimbursing Portland State University (PSU) for the lease of 22 Each 45 passenger buses for a joint USGS and PSU venture supporting the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of Earth ¿s Interior. PSU has charted buses for the venture, USGS is reimbursing PSU for a portion of the cost. Accordingly, the USGS intends to award this requirement non-competitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) (2), to Portland State University, Portland, OR. PSU is the sole Contracting Agency procuring the necessary transportation requirements.Interested concerns having the ability to furnish similar services shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than the closing date of this announcement. This is NOT an RFQ. This may represent the only written notice of this acquisition. Services will be performed in northern Oregon and southern Washington.
