- Draft Performance Work Statement THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUATATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITAION. This is to identify sources that can perform POL Trucking Services - Hachinohe/Misawa (Aomori, Japan). Firms who are interested should respond electronically to Ms Sonomi Yoshihashi via email at sonomi.yoshihashi.jp@us.af.mil by 10 Aug 17 including the following: (1) Name and address of firm; (2) A point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email; (3) Cage code and DUNS number (if available). = Description of Service = The Contractor shall transport clean bulk petroleum products (JP-8) by the Contractor's trucks as set forth in Schedule of Supplies/Services in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract and applicable Government of Japan (GOJ) laws and trade practices. The areas of performance shall be from Hachinohe Fuel Terminal to Misawa AB, Japan. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Nov 2017. ( Subject to change ) A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for your reference. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICIES IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not considered a commitment by the government. The government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this sources sought. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). It is the responsibility of the potential offers to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Any information provided to the government is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the government.
