- J&A The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Phoenix Scientific Sales, P.O. Box 2074, Roswell, GA 3076 NAICS Code is 332813 and Business Size Standard is 500. The contractor shall provide the following: Commercial off the shelf electro-plating apparatus for alpha spectroscopy. Consisting of: Model EP-8 - 1 each Stainless electrode holder clips - 8 each Accessory Kit - 1 each Shipping & Handling - 1 each Device should electroplate actinides to stainless steel planchet cathode in conjuntion with platinum electrod anode from acidic preparation solutions through the application of DC electricl current. Please see attached labeled, "J&A Phoenix Scientific Sales," for further details as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Phoenix Scientific Sales, Cage Code: 1VS15. There are no solicitation document; however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in System For Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via the web to https://www.sam.gov. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, 13 July 2017. Responses should be submitted electronically to olga.m.hairston.civ@mail.mil This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all respones received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisiton based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
