- N40443-17-R-0016 Solicitation The Government intends to make a sole-source award to either of the two OEM authorized Man Diesel representatives Fairbanks Morse Engine (FME) or Motor Services Hugo Stamp (MSHS) for a 6K OVERHAUL KIT (9 CYLINDER; Part Number: M12701638; Stock Number: 0000T23192255). The Man Diesel Engine is installed on the T-AKE Class of MSC ships which includes USNS WALLY SCHIRRA (T-AKE 8). This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
