- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates soliciting quotes and consequently awarding a contract for a project titled Fisher House Showers Replacement. Any acquisition that follows this pre-solicitation notice will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 36 - Construction and A-E Contracting, and other applicable regulations. The solicitation will be advertised as a Total Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, supplies, travel, etc. to demolish and remove 21 existing shower seats and walls and procure and install new shower seats and walls at the Fisher House. Location will be at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The period of performance should be 60 calendar days. Magnitude of construction is expected to between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220, with size standard of $15 Million. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about July 21, 2017 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available all documents for quoting purposes will be posted at this website for download. Site visit information will be provided upon issuance of solicitation. Only one site visit is planned. Quotes will be due 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement.
