- The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Hampton National Historic Site, Towson, MD, intends to issue a Request for Proposal, P17PS01915, to prepare and paint all previously painted exterior wood and metal elements. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision to paint all exterior surfaces except the stucco of Hampton Mansion. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about July 21, 2017. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM, System for Award Management, in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering contractors. The Size Standard is $15M. The magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 and is subject to the DOL Wage Rates. A Bid Guarantee will be required with the Solicitation; Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of award. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective offerors are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing an offer.
