Dwyer US Army Corps of Engineers 1616 Capitol Ave Omaha, NE 68102 Product/Service Code: S201 Subject: Notice of Intent to Solicit from a Single Source IAW FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source Solicitation Number: W9128F17Q0090 Closing response date: 29 June 2017 This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. US Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Rhonda K. McFarland, 409 Main Street, Pukwana, SD 57370 on a Single Source (FAR Part 13.106(b) basis. Description of work: Janitorial Services - Services include furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment and supplies necessary for the cleaning and maintenance of project facilities on the Big Bend Project. The government will not post a solicitation. The government intends to proceed with this single source action. The NAICS code is 561720 - Janitorial Services. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is $18M. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition of this requirement in the future would be advantageous to the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. All interested concerns shall submit responses and questions to monica.l.dwyer@usace.army.mil. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
