- Page 1 of 2 This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market research) only in accordance with 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for planning purposes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, San Antonio Texas, is issuing a sources sought for information and planning purposes only, for the delivery and set up of VA owned Home Oxygen and ventilator equipment, rental of B, D, E, H, K or M Cylinder and liquid systems, and individual supplies to include all required tubing and FireSafe /FailSafe device for the home oxygen patients of VISN 17. This will be a one year period of performance to begin on or around September 1, 2017. This source sought neither constitutes a Request for Quote or a Request for Proposal. This sources sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs for any purpose. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses that can provide the required services relative to North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 621610. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $15 million. This purchase is intended to be awarded to a service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), if adequate competition is found. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this procurement, the4 Government may use responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
