Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Spectrum Business. This order will be for wired cable television and WIFI service for patient use at the Fayetteville NC. Health Care Clinic (HCC). This order requires the installation of cable from Street to building and setup of equipment with no interruption of service during inclement weather. Spectrum Business has been identified as the only wired cable television provider within a tolerable radius from the facility. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within Five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice, and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1 (b).
