- Modification SF 30 Copy 2 Conformed SF 1449 Copy 2 1. The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington, is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide Grounds Maintenance on McChord Field at JBLM. Grounds Maintenance is required for specific areas on McChord Field. The service area is limited and will not encompass the entire installation. Critical elements of these services will require mowing, trimming, edging of lawns and vegetation, service of landscape beds, prune trees and shrubs, stump removal, repair lawns, debris clean-up, weed control, seasonal lawn treatment, storm clean-up, and special/additional services. The contractor shall supply sufficient equipment and manning to ensure quality and timely services. 2. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will result in the award of a fixed-price requirements contract. The applicable NAICS code is 561730, Landscaping Services and the small business size standard is $7.5 million. This procurement will be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. 3. The anticipated contract period of performance: Phase-In 15 August 2017 to 31 August 2017 Base Year- 01 September 2017 to 31 March 2018 1st Option Period- 01 April 2018 to 31 March 2019 2nd Option Period- 01 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 4. The Government will not honor telephonic requests for the solicitation. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The IFB issue date is 14 June 2017 and the anticipated closing date is 12 July 2017. Interested offerors shall consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. The Government will consider bids from all capable and responsible sources. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that they have registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, https://www.sam.gov/, and ensure that the applicable NAICS code 561730, Landscaping Services is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of bids. ****THE SOLICITATION HAS BEEN AMENDED AS OF 27 JUNE 2017. ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF ALL AMENDMENTS ISSUED SINCE THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION. THE BIDDER SHALL MAKE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BY COMPLETING BLOCKS 8, 15A, 15B, AND 15C. THE SOLICITATION IS EXTENDED AND SET TO CLOSE ON 20 JULY 2017, 10:00 A.M. PDT.
