- Single Source justification THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The 18th Contracting Squadron at Kaden AB Okinawa, Japan, intends to award a single source purchase order to Monaco Enterprises Inc., for upgrade of a D-21 alarm System. This award is restricted to Monaco Enterprises Inc., and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 334290, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750. This single source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR, 13.106-1(b)(1); Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available and 13.501(a)(1)(iii); Make publicly available the justifications (excluding brand name) required by 6.305(a) within 14 days after contract award or in the case of unusual and compelling urgency within 30 days after contract award, This notice is NOT a request for quote, however, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested items and services. Submission are due 28 July 2017 no later than 3:00 p.m. Japanese Standard Time (JST). Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm-fixed price order will be issued in writing.
