Description

J&A The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisiiton Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Data Security, Inc. 300 South 7th Street Lincoln, NE 68508-2401. NAICS Code is 333999 and Business Size standard is 500. The contractor shall provide the following: SSMD-2mm Disintegrator (220-240V) PN: 972-0001 - 1 each SSMD Level 2 Spare Parts Kit, PN: 972-2902 - 1 each Debris Bin Bags, set of 30, Part# 972-2800 - 1 each To be compliant with DoD and Army 25-2, ATC needs to purchase a solid state media disintegrator and is required to support the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center. Please see the attachement labeled, "A03 - J&A" for further details as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Data Security, Inc. Cage Code: 0B8L1. There are no solicitation documents; however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in System For Award Management (SAM) datatebase prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via the web to https://www.sam.gov. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, 20 June 2017. Responses should be submitted electronically to olga.m.hairston.civ@mail.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretio of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED.
