- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. SYNOPSIS: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office, is seeking to award a single Reagent Rental or Cost-per-Test contract for Instrumentation for microbial identification test for the detection of vaginitis/ bacterial vaginosis using an automated DNA detection method for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of Gardnerella vaginalis, Candida species and Trichomonas vaginalis from a single vaginal specimen. The contractor shall furnish all instruments, reagents, and required supplies to perform the microbial identification tests during the contract period (twelve (12) month base period with four (4) 12-month option periods) in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions and specification in this solicitation. SOLICITATION: See attached solicitation VA246-17-Q-0169. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339112. Small business size is 1000 employees. This procurement is unrestricted to business size. All responsible parties may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government shall consider quotes received by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, July 7, 2017. Quotes are to be e-mailed to dori.dabbs2@va.gov.
