- SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION #: N00178-17-R-4020 Submitted by: Jules Ward NAICS Code: 334511 FSC Code: 5999 Anticipated Date to be published in FEDBIZOPS: 06/16/2017 Anticipated Closing Date: 06/30/2017 Contracts POC Name: Jules Ward Telephone#: 540-653-8131 Email Address: Julie.waizenhoferwar@navy.mil Description and Code: 59- Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-17-R-4020 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Amherst Systems, Inc., 1740 Wehrle Drive, Buffalo, NY 14221-7032 for the following manufactured products: Requirement for a Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM). Amherst Systems, Inc. is the only known source for the CEESIM system with proven live RF capability in this environment. The CEESIM system also ensures simulation compatibility between the applicable warfare centers. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. At time of proposal submission please submit any historical data as well as published pricing. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 30 June 2017, no later than 12:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 21 July 2017.
