- N00164-17-R-JQ26 - CLOSE QUARTER SIGHT (CQS) & CLIP-ON MAGNIFIER (CM) - FSG/FSC/PSC 1240 - NAICS 333314 Issue Date: 16 JUN 2017 - Closing Date: 07 JUL 2017 - Time 2:00 Eastern The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a full and open competition IAW FAR 6.1. Delivery is required FOB Destination. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to issue a solicitation contract for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that will cover a five year ordering period with five (5) additional one (1) year options that may be exercised at the Governments convenience. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination, Inspection and Acceptance: Destination. Data deliverables are in accordance with Contract Data Requirements Lists, DD 1423's. The anticipated requirement is for a Miniature Aiming System - Day Optics (MAS-D) Squad - Close Quarters Sight (CQS) and Clip-On Magnifier (CM). The sights will be used on both compact and assault rifles. The anticipated contract minimum quantity is thirty (30) units OR $36,000 and the anticipated contract maximum quantity is thirty-nine thousand three hundred units (39,300) OR $47,160,000. The anticipated timeframe for the release of the solicitation is expected to be in the Fall of 2017. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. All changes that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to the FedBizOpps website. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and / or award.
