The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Tektronix Inc., 14150 SW Karl Braun Drive Beaverton Oregon, for the following manufactured products: Requirement for Qty: 1 configured Real Time Spectrum Analyzer (RSA7100A) Under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, the government intends to issue a sole source contract to Tektronix Inc., they are the only known source for this Real Time Spectrum Analyzer with proven capability in real time analysis bandwidth an signal duration. If a replacement Spectrum Analyzer was sufficient, non could meet the list of requirements; only Tektronix Inc. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received within [7] calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by NSWCDD. All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the email address shown below. Responses must be submitted in writing via email to the procurement specialist listed above, no later than [1PM] (EST) on the date noted above. Email should reference Sources Sought [N00178-17-R-4023] in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. LIST OF CONFIGURATIONS BELOW: Item Description: Real Time Spectrum Analyzer Part Number: RSA7100A Quantity: 1 To be configured as follows: · 16kHz to 26.5 GHz frequency range · 800 MHz real time analysis bandwidth, including DPX · 800 MHz acquisition bandwidth · Streaming capture to internal RAID of over 2 hours at full 800 MHz bandwidth · Minimum signal duration for 100% probability of intercept: 700 nsec · Stream/Display Real Time Spectrums/Perform Measurement Analysis simultaneously · Playback of Captured Streams · Frequency Mask Trigger (FMT) that works in both real time and vector signal analysis modes · Segmented Memory playback of acquired data · Real Time Swept Spectrum Mode Real Time Spectrum - 1.47M FFT/sec · Advanced signal analysis tools for wide bandwidth signals (up to 1000 MHz) · Compatibility to playback and record signals with TEKTRONIX RSAs (6114A, 6120B) and XCOM I/Q (IQC 4110) recording playback setups – which is also backwards compatibility with data files.
