- This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Barstow, Director of Base Supply Division is seeking a Non-personal services contract to provide placement and cleaning of portable chemical toilets and portable hand sanitizing stations on MCLB Barstow. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562991 and the size standard is $7.5 million. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). The Regional Contracting Office at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton intends to issue this solicitation under full and open competition after a total set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The entire solicitation will be made available on Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or after 21 June 2017. All responsible sources may submit a proposal upon release of the solicitation. Due date for the proposal is anticipated to be within 30 days upon issuance of the solicitation. Paper copies will not be available. You may download the solicitation and email your proposal in. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the placement and cleaning of Portable Chemical Toilets on the installation, as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Objectives: Place chemical toilets per the direction of the Contracting Officer (KO) or the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Remove waste product from the chemical toilets as required. Clean toilets as required. Maintain all chemical toilets so that the end result is sanitary and functional portable latrines. The estimated period of performance is one (1) base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) 12-month option years. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
