- AMENDMENT 3: The purpose of this amendment is to address the following: -Teaming/Partnering -Industry Day Administrative Notes -Industry Day Q&A -Updated draft PWS Teaming/Partnering: The Department of Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate (DOI IBC AQD) will compile a list of those offerors that wish to be incorporated on a list of offerors that are interested in subcontracting and partnering opportunities with other potential offerors. Therefore, if interested, please submit the business name and point of contact (name, e-mail address, phone number, etc.) to the Contracting Office via email at Jennifer_Jones@ibc.doi.gov and Shanda.Georg@ibc.doi.gov no later than 12:00 pm (noon) ET on June 29, 2017. All e-mail inquiries shall have "Teaming List - Reference # D17PS00392" included in the subject line. This information will be made available to all potential offerors via posting through the fbo.gov website. An offeror is not required to be listed on the source list in order to submit a proposal to any resultant RFP. This is optional and solely intended to be an avenue to facilitate potential subcontracting and partnering opportunities and DOI IBC AQD accepts no liability for any resultant outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this amendment is to generate a list of offerors that are interested in subcontracting and partnering opportunities with other potential offerors. DOI IBC AQD will post an updated Partnering/Teaming List periodically. Industry Day Administrative Notes: 1.IBC Overview slides - Attached to this amendment is an IBC Overview slide presentation. All industry day participants are expected to review this presentation prior to attending industry day. 2.Parking - Turn left at the sign for Visitor Parking. The booth guard will direct you regarding where to park. Be advised that due to the large number of attendees for this event, the parking and security process will be lengthy. Early arrival is encouraged to ensure you are parked, through security, registered, and seated for the event prior to the 1:30 pm start time. Please note that registration is from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm ET. Attached to this amendment is a map of the USGS facility. 3.Cafeteria - The USGS cafeteria is open from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. It is located in the basement of the National Center in room BA110. 4.Snack Bar and Seated Vending Areas - There is one snack bar on the first floor located in room 1A204, operated by the Virginia Department for the visually handicapped. It is open Monday thru Friday from 7:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. A minimum purchase of $5.00 applies for customers paying with credit cards. The vending areas are located on the basement and 4th floors and are open 24 hours. 5.Business Cards - Participants will have an opportunity to provide business cards via a business card collection container that will be at the registration tables. 6.Electronic devices - Use of electronic devices is prohibited at Industry Day. Industry Day Q&A: Questions regarding the updated draft PWS are to be written down on 3x5 cards - in advance or during the presentation. Cards will be available at the registration tables. The cards will be collected during the break. We will answer questions to the best of our ability at Industry Day. All questions (including those received and answered at Industry Day) and answers to all questions (including those questions we were unable to answer at Industry Day, received after the break at Industry Day, or received by the Industry Day feedback due date of June 30, 2017) will be posted via the fbo.gov website. The Company Name and relevant section of the updated draft PWS applicable to the question is required to be printed on the front side (blank side) of the index card. The question shall be printed on the back side (lined side) of the index card. Participants are encouraged to come to Industry Day with pre-printed 3x5 cards regarding your questions specific to the updated draft PWS prior to attending Industry Day. Updated draft PWS: Attached to this notice is an updated draft PWS. The purpose of providing a copy of the draft PWS is to afford industry an opportunity to comment on best practices and critical elements that may be included in the PWS. Any comments provided should not be viewed as a vehicle for presenting a specific approach to be proposed, but as an opportunity to improve an eventual solicitation package. The Government is in the process of finalizing the PWS and attempting to minimize questions prior to release of the RFP. The draft PWS is being provided solely for the purpose of industry comment and feedback. Firms interested in providing feedback on the draft PWS shall submit all feedback on or before 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on June 30, 2017 via email to Jennifer_Jones@ibc.doi.gov and Shanda_Georg@ibc.doi.gov with "OFF System Support Draft PWS Feedback" in the subject of the email. This does not constitute a solicitation and is not a commitment by the Government. The responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not be providing a response to the feedback or questions directly, but may consider industry feedback/questions in possible revisions to the PWS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. All industry day participants are expected to review this updated draft PWS prior to attending industry day.
