- IGF::OT::IGF X:NOGRN Installation of replacement Fire and Security System at USPP H-3 Stable THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, National Capital Region, Western Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for removal of the existing fire alarm/intrusion detection system and installation and testing of a new fire/intrusion detection system in the U.S. Park Police H-3 Stables, a resource within Rock Creek Park, 5883 Horse Stable Road, Washington, DC 20015 on or about July 1, 2017 under SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS01600. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to remove the existing and install a new fire/intrusion detection security system with all inherent electrical and minor building finishing work. The property is an active U.S. Park Police Mounted Unit horse stable. Detailed construction specifications, and drawings will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business standard is $15M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) the Project Magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a best value basis. SITEVISIT: Site Visit information will be in the posted solicitation. TYPEOF CONTRACT: Subject to the availability of funds, this will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on or around the August 15, 2017. Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Washington, DC will apply. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about July 1, 2017 and will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all documents will be posted at this website for download. Offers will be due 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please.
