Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters, VA Medical Center, is currently conducting market research for deliverables to upgrade the Karl Storz Equipment in the OR. (This is a lease for video equipment to be used in the OR.) Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW). The purpose of this request is to upgrade the KARL STORZ EQUIPMENT IN THE OR. This is a lease for video equipment to be used in the OR. The objective of the LEASE is to ensure the medical center maintains the highest level of care for its patient population. The KARL  STORZ S-Technologies upgraded equipment is designed to offer better patient outcomes. It will make it easier for examiners to assess the mucosal structure. The upgraded technology offers an ergonomically shaped control unit for fatigue-free working; it offers a larger deflection area for a complete view; homogeneous image brightness, even under difficult lighting conditions as well as a programmable remote control buttons, single and double assignment as an added feature. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). A solicitation is not currently available.
