- The Regional Health Contracting Office - Atlantic, Gordon Health Contracting Cell, Fort Gordon, Georgia intends to issue an purchase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) on a sole source basis to Biomet, Inc., 56 East Bell Drive, Warsaw, IN for various Femoral Nail implants and instrumentation consisting of the following items: 1 each bead tip guide wire, item #: 27922 1 each femoral nail torch, item #: 14-443738 2 each 6mm x 85mm cannulated partially threaded reconstructive screw, item #: 14-406085 1 each 5mm double-lead threaded screw, item #: 14-405044 3 each 3.2mm x 460mm COCR threaded tip guide wire, item #: 14-441054 1 each 4.3mm Crowne point twist drill, item #: 27984 2 each 4.5mm Crowne point twist drill, item #: 14-442095 1 each Cannulated Tapered Recon drill, 6mm x 489mm, item #: 14-442023 This action will be conducted IAW FAR 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing the Contracting Officer at linda.m.spindler.civ@mail.mil no later than 22 June 2017, 12:00 PM Eastern Standard time. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice.
