- PROJECT TITLE: C Camp Utility Rehabilitation - Phase 6 West, Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska DESCRIPTION: The proposed work consists of water, sewer, and electrical utility replacement for a portion of the employee seasonal residence cabins located at C Camp in the frontcountry area of Denali National Park and Preserve. Seventeen two-occupant cabins are supported by these utilities and provisions are made for one future six-room dorm. The project consists of: 1. The demolition and installation of 360 feet of 1.5 inch HDPE water main and all water service laterals to 12 existing cabins and the 1 future dormitory. 2. The demolition and installation of 400 feet of 6 inch HDPE sewer main and all 4 inch service laterals to 17 cabins and the 1 future dormitory. 3. The demolition and installation of a new septic tank and absorption field. 4. The demolition and installation of 440 feet of medium voltage distribution including dual-voltage transformers and 830 feet of secondary feeders. LOCATION: C-camp Residential Area is located on the Denali Park Road approximately 3.0 miles from the intersection of the Denali Park Road with the George Parks Highway (Alaska State Highway 3). This intersection is located at Milepost 237 of the George Parks. SET-ASIDE TYPE: This is 100% set aside for small businesses. NAICS CODE: The NAICS code for this project is 237110 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. DURATION: The contract duration will be 85 calendar days following the notice to proceed. The estimated start work date is July 15, 2017. Seasonal shutdown may occur and final work must be completed by September 15, 2018. SITE VISIT: A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Prospective offerors will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the solicitation documents. No other notification will be sent. Solicitation questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Darcy Skinner, in writing to darcy_skinner@nps.gov.
