- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INENT ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to the following: Enterprise Security, Inc., 1060 N. Tustin Ave., Anaheim, CA 92807 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1). Posting of this Special Notice is in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(iii). The intended award will follow policies and procedures set forth in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Security Team uses CCTV to monitor 5 operational floors within the District. The security team uses video physical security measures to achieve protection standards. AR 190-51 requires the maintenance of physical security measures for the practice of physical security and personnel safety. The Security Office requires upgrade current system within voiding Bosch warranty standards, use existing security camera system and change server and provide onsite support of upgraded system. Bosch holds proprietary rights both to the architectural design and retrieval software. Enterprise Security, Inc. is the only contractor capable of providing the work within a legacy system used by the Security Team for asset protection. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by written response by 10:00 AM (PST) on June 19, 2017 via email to Antoinette.c.allen@usace.army.mil. Reference - Physical Security CCTV. Capability statements must contain sufficient details that clearly demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
