Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to furnish a similar commercial-off-the-shelf product to: 1. VENTPROP VentProp is a fire-fighting training device that allows recruits to meet the training requirements set in NFPA 1001, Firefighter I. The frame and cover plate are made of aluminum, the mounting bracket is steel. The frame and bracket are powder coated black, and the diamond plate cover is textured and powder coated. All mounting hardware is stainless steel that has been coated in black oxide for color. The saw guides are made of UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene). REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: 30 SEPTEMBER 2017 The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333999. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
