Description

A Purchase Order was awarded by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) for six (6) brand name Bayer Healthcare Medrad Stellant Auto Injector parts to complete sets of Computed Tomography (CT) machines used by deployed forces in theater. All required items will be shipped to the USAMMA's medical equipment repair depot located in Tracy, CA. In addition to the parts required for the auto injectors, the Contractor will also be required to perform preventative maintenance and calibration services (PMCS). Preventative Maintenance will include replacing worn cables, opening the injector head and changing O-rings and the lubricating unit. PMCS services are as required and these auto injector units have been in the field for years and will be issued like new for additional use in the field. The calibration portion of the PMCS verifies the unit delivers the correct amount of dye into the patient at the correct pressure and that all operator settings are functional.
