- Ref: FAR 5.204, FAR 5.207, & FAR 36.213-2 FBO NOTICES HSCG82-17-B-PACP02 – MAIN PIER REPAIR & FLOATING DOCKS REPLACEMENT AT U.S. COAST GUARD STATION TYBEE ISLAND, GA SYNOPSIS: THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This project is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform repairs to the existing Main Pier and replacement of Floating Docks at U.S. Coast Guard Station Tybee Island, GA due to Hurricane Matthew. The work includes, but not limited to, the following: Replace south concrete floating dock. Remove aluminum gangway, refurbish and reinstall as the work progresses. Install electrical shore tie pedestals (government furnished equipment). Replace north concrete floating dock. Remove aluminum gangway, refurbish and reinstall as the work progresses. Replace existing concrete pile jacketing system. Provide new concrete pile jacketing system. Repair corrosion damage of concrete pile and caps. Replace deteriorated timber fender piles. Replace steel cable and staples of pile clusters. Replace metal ladders, and replace mooring hardware fasteners. Replace wood curbing. Replace gasoline and diesel fuel dispenser and piping. Replace transformers, electrical panels, electrical wiring, and conduits and pull boxes. The performance period will be 270 calendar days. The estimated value of this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2017 code is 237990. The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipt of $33.5 million. Bid, payment, and performance bonds are required. All responsible sources eligible under the set-aside may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. The following are tentative dates for this project: Solicitation issued: June 2017 Bid Opening: July 2017 Contract Performance Completion: April 2018 The solicitation and plans in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number.
